Job Responsibilities
Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies that promote their functional aspirations
Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ researched practices to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily life functions
Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded care
Guide Patients and Caregivers: Provide education and support to patients and their families, ensuring sustained progress beyond the clinical setting
Track and Assess Progress: Document clinical outcomes meticulously and modify treatment plans as necessary, keeping patients on track
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Encouragement and support for continuing education and post-graduate certifications
Certifications
Currently active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
Required certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
