Diagnostic Radiographer

Perform interventional radiology procedures in compliance with regulatory agencies and hospital policies and procedures.

Display sound knowledge and proficiency in the use and operation of all angiography imaging equipment and accessories.

Perform angiography exams as per protocol on a variety of body parts in a timely manner.

Stock rooms with supplies.

Confirm that consent forms are completed by physician when necessary.

Perform data entry using accurate times.

Scan documents into PACS, attached to correct exam.

Send exams from PACS or AW to the Amicus Tele-rad system when necessary.

Verify physician orders in patient chart and follow physician’s written orders.

Interact with Radiologists, other physicians, patients and colleagues. Communicate effectively with customers (physicians, patients, colleagues).

ARRT-R) Radiography.

(RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
