The Company is in search of a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the global technology function. The CTO will be responsible for evaluating the current technology environment and establishing a long-term strategic direction that aligns with the organization's mission. This role requires a minimum of 10-15 years of progressive technology leadership experience, including a proven track record in executive technology roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise architecture, systems thinking, and experience in leading technology transformation initiatives. As CTO, the successful candidate will also be expected to build trusted relationships, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure that technology investments support the organization's goals.
Key responsibilities for the CTO at the company include developing a comprehensive understanding of the organization's global operations, strategic objectives, and technology landscape. The role involves guiding technology investment decisions, strengthening technology governance, and improving delivery excellence. The CTO will work closely with the executive leadership team to enhance technology strategy, governance, and organizational capability. Experience in nonprofit, humanitarian, healthcare, or globally distributed mission-driven organizations is preferred, as is a strong understanding of multicultural operating environments. The CTO will serve as a strategic advisor, providing periodic assessments and recommendations, and will be expected to travel domestically and internationally as part of the role.
