Description

Job Purpose: The Baker at Hugo's Central Bakery is responsible for executing all aspects of bakery production, ensuring high-quality baked goods are consistently produced. This role requires proficiency in mixing, operating bakery equipment, and oven work, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and execute the production of bakery items, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards. Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including mixers and ovens, to ensure efficient and safe production processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning work areas and equipment at the end of each shift. Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency and quality of baked goods. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a cohesive work environment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise. Assist in inventory levels with ingredients.

Qualifications

Required Education: A high school diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: Specialized training or culinary education may be an advantage but is not always necessary for this role. Required Experience: Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects Effective communication skills Ability to work well in a team environment Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as bakery production demands. Must be reliable. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
