Math Instructor (Part Time)

Consistent, but flexible part-time hours
Continuous training on effective teaching methodologies
Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
Support various administrative tasks and projects around the center
Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
Passion for and great working with kids -- fun, patience, encouragement, empathy
interest in taking on new projects; comfort speaking with students and parents
Teaching experience
Passion for math
Strong math competency through at least Algebra I
All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and successfully complete a background check, in accordance with applicable California law.
