Prep-Cook/Line-Cook and Weekend Servers

Connect Staffing is hiring entry level Cook / Servers for a pop-up banquet hall serving meals to construction workers at a Data Center project in McCarran, NV. This is a temp position paying $16-$19/hr depending on experience. In this role, you will prepare and cook menu items from scratch using a grill, sauté station, and fryer, while also taking guest orders and delivering food and beverages to tables. This is a working kitchen environment with steady volume throughout the project.
Schedule: Daytime shift. Evening, weekend, holiday, and overtime shifts may be required

Work Environment: Pop-up banquet hall / scratch kitchen serving a Data Center construction crew in a rural area
Work both back-of-house and front-of-house in a from-scratch kitchen serving large volumes of construction workers in a banquet-style setting.
Operate grill, sauté station, and fryer following recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, service areas, and dining areas throughout the shift.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
6+ months of recent cook, prep cook, or similar experience

Experience in catering, buffets, banquet halls, food production or restaurant kitchen environment.Experience operating a grill, sauté station, or commercial fryer.
Experience taking guest orders and delivering food in a restaurant or banquet setting.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe or equivalent a plus).
Experience in high-volume or catering / banquet-style food service.
Previous experience in a kitchen, food service, or restaurant environment - or a strong willingness to learn (entry-level candidates welcome).
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
