Medical Laboratory TechnicianJob Title: Medical Laboratory TechnicianProfession: MLT Specialty: LaboratoryDuration: 13 weeksShift: Variable day/evening shiftHours per Shift: 8 hoursExperience: Minimum 1 year of experience requiredLicense: MLT, MT, or MLS certification through ASCP or AMTCertifications: BLS (AHA) Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via ASCP Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via ASCP Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via AMTMust-Have: Experience working independently on the graveyard shift Proficiency in all areas of the lab, including blood bank Familiarity with LIS systems such as Epic and WellskyDescription: The position requires coverage in all areas of the laboratory. Phlebotomy is not required for this role. Weekend and holiday shifts are required. Dress code is flexible, allowing for either scrubs or business casual attire. The facility reserves the right to cancel a limited number of shifts during the assignment. Charting is done through the EPIC system.
