Variable shifts, may include days, evenings, nights, or weekends
Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as ordered by healthcare providers
Operate and monitor respiratory equipment and document patient responses
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate, timely patient records and participate in care planning
Respond promptly to emergency situations and participate in rapid response teams
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist certification (RRT)
Recent clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferred
Proficient with respiratory care modalities and emergency interventions
