Counselor I - Evening Counselor

Job Description Schedule: Some evenings required.

New Dawn Treatment Center has been a cornerstone of mental health and addiction treatment in Sacramento and Reno, for over 30 years. Participates in client treatment planning and continuum of care.

• Conducts group sessions as scheduled, and documents as required.
• Complete necessary community referrals and ensure continuity of care with other agencies as needed.
• Conduct assessments, screenings, treatment planning, and managing clients' progress.
• Understands the principles and applications of evidenced based treatment modalities.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and maintain personal auto insurance coverage.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
