Shift / Schedule: Day Shift, 3x12 Hours, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Summary
This is a 14-bed overflow unit for several months to accommodate ED boarder patients and will function as a med/surg tele unit. It will be a flex space inside the GI Endoscopy space, so the number of patients may increase or decrease depending on demand and boarder numbers.
LPN: May not assume assignment and act as resource in GIOF or med/surg.
RNs need to have a mandatory competency with phlebotomy as well as placing IVs as this is a required skill for any RN at this facility.

Minimum 1 year of experience required
Preferred Skills

Education Requirements
LPN License required
BLS Certification required
Pending License: Not accepted
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Unit accepts first-time travelers
Float required - based on turn; would float to care for MS patients
Call required - dependent on staffing needs
Weekend coverage: Every other weekend (EOW)
Block schedule: Will try to accommodate but not guaranteed
RTO: Minimal RTO requested
Scrubs: Navy blue/white
Local candidates not accepted (must reside more than 75 miles from facility)
