Landscaping/Groundskeeper (Seasonal)

The groundskeeper will work 6:00am to 2:00pm, and is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of outdoor areas and landscaping. Work hours and scheduled days may adjust depending on organization and landscape needs.

Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas

Plant, water, mulch, fertilize, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery

Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mower(s), trimmers, blowers, lift(s), and hedge cutters

Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers safely when required

Maintain sidewalks, curbs, fences, and outdoor common areas

Minor painting of curbs, fences, and other outdoor structures

Assist with seasonal tasks such as storm cleanup and holiday decorations

Perform minor repairs and general labor as assigned

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Minimum 5 years' experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred

Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Understanding different units of measurements

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
