Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. Hospital: Trident Medical Center Location: Charleston, SC Address: 9330 Medical Center Plaza Drive Unit: 4th floor/Neuro Building: 9330 General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 30 (when opened fully in March/April). Currently at 18 with renovations in process. Patient Ratios: 6-7:1 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Team nursing approach with techs on the unit, US on day shift and we strive to have a free Charge Nurse to support the team. Type of equipment: Regular for Med Surg Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: Must work 4 weekend shifts every 4-week scheduling period Floating policy: Would be required to float to like units as the needs dictate Patient Experience requirements: Must perform hourly safety rounds and perform bedside shift report with the patient Hospital Specifics-Certifications: BLS & NIH Stroke Scale (can be obtained here) Dress Code: (Required uniform) Navy color Trident Medical Center is a 313-bed HCA Healthcare facility in Charleston, South Carolina.
