Phlebotomy/Phlebotomist (Healthcare)

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 22032 El Paseo, Suite 160, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm; additional hours and rotating weekends may be required.

Job Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely

Process billing information and collect payments when required

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Maintain patient and specimen information logs

Provide superior customer service to all patients

Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Travel to additional sites when needed

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License

Preferred Qualifications

At least 1 month of experience as a phlebotomist

Current or prior experience with Labcorp

Additional Job Standards

In lieu of the state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet the requirement

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Able to attend 2‑week training in California

Pay Range: $23.00 - $33.00

Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work fewer than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees: 401(k) plan only. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
