We are seeking a full time Certified Medical Assistant that is experienced, organized, dependable and dedicated to patient care. As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Medical Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and support to our medical professionals.
Responsibilities:

• Assisting physicians in all aspects of the patient's initial consultation, follow-up examinations and any emergency visits that are needed.
• Rooms patients conduct patient interviews, take vital signs (i.e.: blood pressure, pain level, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts/EMR.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including obtaining necessary medical history and administering medications as directed.
• Perform routine diagnostic procedures
• Collects and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis
• Schedule and follow-up on diagnostic studies that are ordered including proper documentation and obtaining physicians signature on test results.
• Provide exceptional patient care, including assisting with patient education and counseling.
• Maintain a safe and organized environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring that all equipment is properly cleaned and disinfected.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant 1-3 years’ experience preferred
• Must work well with multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Must properly control the release of proprietary and confidential information
• Maintain licenses and /or certifications as applicable
• Excellent attention to detail, good oral and written communications skills

Experience

• Medical Assistant: 1year (Required)
• EMR systems: 1 year (Required)
• Phlebotomy (preferred)
• Knowledge of insurance rules (preferred)
• Previous Urology experience (preferred)
