RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified full-time Radiologic Technologist in Somerville, NJ
High school graduate
Graduation from a recognized two-year School of Radiologic Technology.
Per Diem
Performs each requested exam with the minimal amount of radiation to produce a high quality, interpretable radiograph.
In conjunction with the radiologist, determines the appropriate contrast media to be used for a specific examination.
Positions patient in order to facilitate physician in performing the examination.
Follow the explicit orders of the physician performing the examination.
Anticipates the needs of physicians performing examinations.
Knows how to edit and split studies when necessary.
Reports damaged equipment to appropriate personnel.
Takes diagnostic call and works weekends on a rotating basis.
Able to demonstrate the technical art to student radiographers.
