Location: DoubleTree by Hilton - Denver-Aurora, CO
Essential Responsibilities:
Carries dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen.
Replaces soiled table linens and sets tables with silverware and glassware.
Replenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware and dishes in dining room.
Decorates service bar and supplies it with food, such as soups, salads and desserts.
Replenishes service bar with utensils and dishes.
Serves ice water and butter to patrons.
Cleans and polishes sneeze guard, glass shelves and doors of service bars and equipment such as coffee urns and cream and milk dispensers.
Assists wait staff as deemed necessary by management to service guests in a timely manner.
May run errands and deliver food orders to meeting rooms.
May transfer food and dishes between floors of establishment using dumbwaiter.
Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Skills & Abilities:
The ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to work well with a variety of personality types and maintain tact and diplomacy throughout all interactions.
The ability to multitask and prioritize.
Hours:
~ Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education & Experience:
~ High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements of the Position:
~ Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree. May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.

Physical Activity of the Position:
~ Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking/pinching with fingers, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motion.

Environmental Conditions:
~ Inside: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. A job is considered "inside" if the worker spends approximately 75 percent or more of the time inside.
