As a resident moonlighter psychiatrist at Allina Health, you will provide weekend on-site coverage of an inpatient psychiatrist unit.In a resident capacity and within practice restrictions, provides direct patient care for clinical patients for designated specialty.

Reviews patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.

Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.

Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration of cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.

May participate in on-call rotation.

Quality.

Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or work flows.

May participate in peer review and quality assurance.

Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine

D. level advanced degree with all requirements met through the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS)

ACLS/BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required depending on business unit upon hire

Minnesota State Medical Residency Permit which is current and unrestricted, with eligibility for full, unrestricted licensure in MN upon hire required

Prescription Monitoring Program upon hire required

occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
