On-Site (5 days)
The HR Generalist will be responsible for the local delivery and execution of core HR services to employees and managers in accordance with Trane Technologies principles, corporate policies and procedures, and manufacturing operations. They will perform a variety of employment related functions for the ultimate purpose of enhancing employee engagement, productivity, and ensuring employee compliance with company policies. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.
Functions as an HR Generalist providing HR counsel to business management teams; responsible for support in execution of HR strategies and programs that support business and corporate goals.
Gathers, analyzes, and interprets HR related data for report generation and management decision making, links HR action plans with business needs.
Intake of employee relations issues, such as allegations, complaints, or other concerns brought up from employees.
Demonstrates awareness of the cross-cultural impact of HR processes, coaches' managers on the positive impact of a progressive, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
Works with local management team to develop and implement engagement and retention plans.
Performs majority of HR administration work related to recruiting, onboarding, payroll, employee records, etc.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required
Experience with a broad HR Generalist skill, including employee relations, recruiting, local and federal law knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner at all times with all levels of customers, clients, vendors, visitors, and employees.
Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with a team, with excellent project management.
Preferred experienced and knowledge in HRMS and other HR Systems, Workday and UKG experience a plus.
Proficiency in using Microsoft software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Ability to work across multiple shifts
Percentage of Travel: 5%
Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:
$The actual compensation will depend on elements such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation. Additionally, benefits may vary depending on the region, business alignment, union involvement, and employee status.
