Salary Range: $14.00 To $18.00 Hourly

JOB Posting JOB TITLE: Cook

REPORTS TO: General Manager

POSITIONPURPOSE: The Cook is responsible for prepping meals by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients per restaurant recipes. Checking ingredients for freshness, arranging, and garnishing the dishes. You will also oversee ensuring that the kitchen and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.

DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES: Weigh, measure, mis and prep ingredients according to recipes

Check food ingredients for freshness

Ensure that the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils are clean

EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparation positions

Restaurant or customer service experience preferred

Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card

Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season

WORKINGCONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Mustbeabletoindependently lift,carry, push,andpulluptothirty(30)pounds

Mustbeable toswimorbewilling towearapersonal flotationdeviceininstancesof emergency

Mustbeabletoperformsimplegrasping,finemanipulation,andrepetitivehand&armmovementsfrequently,and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally

Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
