Full Time Urology Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Urologist for a long-term locum opportunity in Northern New York beginning October 2026. Full-time coverage is preferred, but the facility will consider two physicians alternating two weeks per month . This opportunity is primarily outpatient with inpatient consults, procedures, rounding, and optional call coverage. Assignment Details

Call availability can be structured around the provider's schedule

~ Monday Friday

~8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Clinic currently operates Monday Thursday, 8:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Optional/flexible call coverage
• Call: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM

Practice Setting

• Primarily outpatient Urology
• Acute care hospital
• Level III Trauma Center
• Adult patients 18+
• Epic EMR
• Approximately 20 patients per provider per day
• 4 exam rooms

Clinical Responsibilities

Bread-and-butter Urology

Outpatient clinic visits

Inpatient Urology consults

Procedures and surgical cases

Post-operative rounding as needed

OR block: 7:30 AM 3:00 PM

No stated OR case limit

Limited robotic availability

Support Staff

• 1 current full-time provider
• 2 LPNs
• 2 CNA/CMAs
• 1 Patient Representative

Requirements

MD or DO

Board Certified in Urology

Active New York medical license in hand

BLS required

Epic experience required

Current and complete work history

Any gaps of 30+ days must be explained

Physician statement required for any malpractice history

Ideal Candidate A Board Certified Urologist comfortable with bread-and-butter outpatient Urology, procedures, inpatient consultations, and post-operative care who can provide either full-time coverage or a consistent two-week-per-month commitment.
