CNC Machinist (Remote)

Lathe Machinist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist who is proficient in setting up and operating multiple machines, with the ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of G-code and be capable of inspecting parts for accuracy using various measurement tools.

Read and understand G-code for machine operations.

Inspect parts for accuracy using micrometers or calipers.

Ability to use Windows Excel.

Good working knowledge of geometrical dimension and tolerance, with capability to work in both Metric and English units.

Ability to make minor edits of CNC code at the machine.

Ability to lift 45 lbs without assistance.

CNC Programming experience is a plus.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• The position is based in a machine shop environment, where safety and precision are paramount. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PENSACOLA, FL.
