Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a teaching hospital, requiring 3+ years of ER experience and multiple advanced certifications.
Details

• Emergency Room unit within a teaching hospital setting
• 12-hour afternoon/night shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend required, with holidays required if needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Compact license not accepted; active MA RN license required

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• 3+ years of current Emergency Room experience (within the last 6 months) required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Skills checklist specific to Emergency Room experience, current within 1 year, required for consideration
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required

Additional Information
Provide emergency nursing care within a Level teaching hospital environment
Facility does not consider candidates who reside within 50 miles of the facility
Must work two of the three major holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and following weekend, or New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and following weekend
No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted for this assignment
Block scheduling requests will not be considered for this position
