Quality Engineering S

The Quality Engineer is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the organization's Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role serves as the primary coordinator for internal and external audits, while providing independent oversight to ensure processes are effective, documented, and consistently followed across Production Operations. Oversees the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System.

• Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
• Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
• Communicates quality standards and parameters to the production operations team and other appropriate staff.
• Provides quality & manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing performance records and data, answering questions and responding to requests.
• Assists and performs quality functions as needed.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally to all levels of Vontas and customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database experience.
• Three years of experience with Quality Management Systems.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer/laptop.

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (including domestic and international), sometimes for extended periods, which may involve sitting during transit and walking at various locations.
