As a Locksmith in GRAND PRAIRIE, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. The Locksmith is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining locks and security systems, as well as making keys and managing key systems.

Position Type: Full Time

Routine maintenance on locking devices, including the replacement of parts as well as the repair and fabrication of parts to ensure the continued security that the locking device provides

Work independently or with others to install and maintain door hardware, including panic hardware, latch bolts, doorknobs, handles, mechanical cipher locks, electric locks, and other related items

Decode and open locks by use of lock picking tools, disassembly, or other methods used to repair worn or broken parts

Maintain classified materials safes and vaults, including changing the combination and drilling of safes due to lost combos or malfunctions

High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of five (5) years of work experience

Professional Locksmith certification

- Post offer, must be able to obtain a clearance commensurate with site requirements

Post hire, successful completion of Lenel/Software class
