This position focuses on providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction at all times. Location Overland Park, KS Unit Information Number of Beds: 24 Patient Ratios: 1:4 Unit Staffing: Unit secretary available 21 hours per day; 5 core Registered Nurses covering 10 AM to 10 PM Type of Equipment: Level 1 fluid warmer, GE monitor system, Artic Sun, Lifepak, Alaris pumps Documentation System: Every third weekend, mid-shift schedules ranging from 10 AM to 2:30 AM or 1 PM to 1:30 AM Floating Policy: Rare; staff may only be flexed home if necessary Patient Experience Requirements: Use of AIDET, whiteboards, and a positive attitude Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC preferred, with CPI, CEN or TCRN certification as a plus Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center Required Skills: Knowledge of trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis, and triage Procedures: Familiarity with all procedures associated with a Level 2 trauma center Licensure: Current Kansas Registered Nurse license Dress Code Required uniform includes a solid cobalt blue top and black or cobalt blue pants, along with closed-toe shoes. Employment Type This is a travel position. Shift Details This position offers a day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM.
