The facility features strong support staff including MAs, Clinic Supervisors, and RNs, and utilizes Cerner EMR to support efficient and effective patient care delivery.

Job Details:

• Seeking 1 General Cardiologist for a 6+ month engagement beginning end of June/early July
• 100% outpatient general cardiology setting - no inpatient responsibilities
• Full scope outpatient general cardiology duties; Interventional Cardiologists will be considered but must be comfortable performing general cardiology
• Average of 20 patients per day; no hospital admissions
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-12pm (8-hour days with 1-hour lunch)
• Client will consider 2 providers working 2 weeks per month as an alternative scheduling arrangement
• EMR: Cerner
• Support staff includes MA, Clinic Supervisor, and RN
• Board Certification in Cardiology required; Board Eligible candidates will not be considered
• Active California medical license required
• Fellowship/Residency must be from a program accredited by ACGME, AACOM, or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred; dismissed claims only will be considered
• A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is mandatory at time of submission
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60-90 days; Foundation privileges only
