Job Details Position: Travel Registered Nurse (Homecare RN) Setting: Home Health / Homecare Nursing Location: San Antonio, TX 78240 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 8/10/2026 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts Hours per Week: 40 scheduled hours, with a 36-hour weekly guarantee On-Call / Weekend Requirement: Yes, on a rotation Coverage Area: Within a 60-mile radius of San Antonio Mileage Reimbursement: Yes, between visits from first patient to last patient Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120 - $2,230 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred, ideally in home health or skilled nursing Associate degree in Nursing required Experience with Home Health Charting (HCHB) is a plus Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality patient care Comfortable traveling to patient homes within the assigned service area Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care in the home setting Complete patient assessments and deliver care according to the plan of care Monitor patient status, document visits accurately, and communicate changes to the care team Support patients and families with education and ongoing nursing guidance Maintain productivity expectations while managing a patient schedule across the service area Participate in on-call and weekend rotation as assigned Travel between patient visits while following mileage reimbursement procedures Apply now to join this rewarding San Antonio home health nursing job and help deliver compassionate care where it matters most.
