Full Time Physiatrist Needed

At Visionary Physical Therapy, we are not a traditional physical therapy clinic. We are a performance-driven, athlete-centered rehabilitation and recovery company built for people who refuse to settle for generic care.

Our model combines evidence-based rehabilitation, strength and conditioning principles, recovery science, manual therapy, movement optimization, and performance training under one roof. We work with high school athletes, collegiate athletes, active adults, runners, Hyrox competitors, and individuals who want to continue performing at a high level — not just get out of pain.

We believe modern physical therapy should bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physical Therapist located in Fairfield, CT.

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat orthopedic and sports-performance clientele using a combination of hands-on care, movement analysis, strength and conditioning principles, and individualized rehabilitation programming. Clinicians are expected to confidently progress patients from pain reduction to full return to sport, training, and high-level activity.

Designing individualized rehab and performance-based treatment plans

• Delivering one-on-one manual therapy and exercise-based interventions
• Providing patient education centered around long-term performance and resilience
• Collaborating with trainers, coaches, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate

⸻Doctorate (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

• Active Connecticut Physical Therapist license
• Strong foundation in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation
• Understanding of strength and conditioning principles and return-to-sport programming
• High emotional intelligence and strong client-facing professionalism
• Passion for performance, movement, fitness, and continued professional growth

Familiarity with performance-based rehab models

• Experience with cash-based or concierge healthcare models
• Strength and conditioning background (CSCS or equivalent preferred)
