Warehouse - Inventory Cycle Counter

Talascend is currently seeking an Inventory Coordinator for a contract opportunity with our client in Chandler, Arizona .

Overview

This role involves supporting material planning and coordination for a leading semiconductor fabrication project. Responsibilities include implementing the material management plan, coordinating specifications and identification of materials, and ensuring timely delivery of materials essential for construction activities.

Responsibilities

Implement the material management plan and coordinate material specifications and identification with engineering and construction teams.
Follow guidelines to optimize materials planning processes for key commodities.
Ensure consistent material identification methodology and clearly defined responsibilities between project functions.
Identify approval requirements that could impact timely engineering deliverables and material issuance.
Assist in implementing component numbering approaches and verifying material requisitions for clarity and detail.
Maintain relationships with project controls, engineering, supply chain, automation support, and construction teams to ensure materials support construction schedules.
Monitor engineering and supply chain schedules to ensure alignment with project timeline.
Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience or 5-6 years of work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of vendor materials, tools, consumables, and safety materials used during construction.
• Experience with receiving documentation paperwork requirements.
• Strong automation skills with the ability to learn new applications quickly, including DSCS.
• Working knowledge of material storage and handling.
• Understanding of field purchasing functions, rental agreements, and work packaging materials.
• Proficient in organizing tasks for completion by deadlines.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
