Position Overview Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team in New Hartford NY.
Work Schedule Monday - Friday (4:00 pm - 12:30 am), and rotating Saturdays as needed.
Job Responsibilities Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Resolve and document any problem specimens

The Specimen Processor will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.
Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications 1 or more years relative experience (lab/accessioning, production/manufacturing/warehouse environment)
1 or more years Medical or production experience
Strong data entry and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Office
Pay Range Pay Range: $17.75 - $19.00 per hour All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
