Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 Hour shifts, Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care during the night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care on the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.

Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions continuously.

Administer medications and intravenous therapies according to protocols.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.

Document all patient interactions and care delivered in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN experience required.

Current SC or Multi-State Compact RN license required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.

NIHSS certification preferred.

Experience with Epic charting system is required.
