Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer II!

Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. Quality Control Implementation: Establish and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet required specifications.
Identify, investigate, and resolve manufacturing quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Process Auditing: Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to verify compliance with established standards.
Customer Escape Containment: Assist in customer escape containment and resolution processes by gathering data, analyzing defects, and contributing to corrective actions as part of a team.
Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) Reduction: Participate in cost of poor quality (COPQ) metric implementation and improvements. Drive COPQ reduction and production stop activities by supporting root cause analysis and applying approved corrective measures.
Documentation Review: Help verify accuracy in prints and acceptance criteria, contributing to defect identification, disposition, and deviation processes while adhering to established quality protocols.
Quality Support & Collaboration: Provide quality support for operations, working closely with production teams to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvements. Support the resolution of complex quality issues, utilizing advanced problem-solving tools to identify root causes and implement effective preventative measures.
Utilize quality feedback and metrics to identify opportunities for design and process improvements, sharing insights with leaders, partners, and other key stakeholders.
Support other quality engineers in their work, setting standards and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the quality engineering team. Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar technical field.

• 3-5 years of progressive experience in quality engineering focusing on manufacturing quality within the electrical industry or a related industry.
• Demonstrated experience in participating in quality improvement projects. Proven ability to support quality problem resolutions.
• Good knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Some experience with statistical analysis tools used for quality analysis.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001.
• Some experience in process analytics with a broad knowledge of quality tools and industry metrics.
• Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the quality function.
• Able to liaise with key stakeholders outside the quality function in technical and non-technical roles and present compelling information to achieve buy-in.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc), including excellent Excel skills and experience using Power BI.
