Hospice Personal Care Services

Provides safe, efficient and high quality personal care services to assigned patients under the supervision and guidance of a registered nurse, and in accordance with Hospice policies. Performs duties in accordance with the patient's plan of care and appropriate to the level of training, including but not limited to, the following:

monitoring vital signs, as assigned, including: blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respirations;

assisting patients with bathing and personal hygiene needs;

assisting patients with mouth, hair, nail and skin care;

assisting with ostomy or catheter care, as directed;
