Transporter- Patient Transport

Overview Job Summary
Provides courteous, safe transport of patients and/or supplies throughout the facility. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Transports patients, equipment, and/or supplies throughout hospital to ensure items are available when needed for patient care.
Maintains a safe and germ free environment for all customers.
Documents all patient transports on appropriate departmental log.
Inspects equipment prior to usage to ensure in proper working order.
Completes assigned goals.
Specifications
Experience
Preferred/Desired
~6 months hospital or customer service experience.

Education
Minimum Required
~ Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred/Desired
~ HS diploma/GED or higher
