Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule

• Day Shift
• Monday – Friday
• Shift Timing: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 8.5 Hours per Day
• Total Weekly Hours: 42.5 Hours

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join a healthcare facility in Syracuse, New York. The ideal candidate will have strong breast imaging experience and be skilled in performing diagnostic sonographic examinations independently while delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations independently using sonographic equipment
Accurately identify and differentiate between normal and pathological findings during examinations
Obtain and review patient medical histories prior to procedures
Communicate examination findings and relevant information to radiologists
Maintain daily operations of the sonography department, including patient scheduling and workflow coordination
Ensure proper maintenance, quality assurance, and functionality of ultrasound equipment
Follow departmental protocols and patient safety guidelines
Provide compassionate and professional patient care throughout procedures
Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
Requirements

Graduate of an ultrasound program accredited by CHEA and USDOE
RDMS Certification in Abdominal and OB/GYN required
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience required
Breast imaging experience required
Strong knowledge of diagnostic sonography procedures and patient care
Ability to work independently and use clinical judgment effectively
Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance
