Stanford's Restaurant and Bar ( ) is on the lookout for a dynamic and driven full-time Host to join our team at our Classic American Steakhouse located in Northgate, Seattle, WA. Responsibilities:
Arrive at work on time and in proper uniform, prepared to execute exceptional shifts. Open the door for guests.
Keep lines from forming at the door.
Answer incoming reservation calls.?
Complete reservations in the computerized reservation system.?
Keep abreast of all food & beverage venues and menus.?
Perform other related duties as assigned.?
Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.?
Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests.?
Using the table management system, manage incoming reservations and venue floor.?
Bid all guests farewell and invite them back to Stanford's.
Assist with daily administrative work as per direction of the venue manager.?

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to perform essential job functions. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Requirements
Requirements:
Prior related experience preferred.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests as well as all levels of employees in both verbal and written form in a professional manner.?
Ability to manipulate the MICROS POS system and accurately input orders and post transactions.?
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.?
Ability to provide direction in a fast-paced environment; manage time effectively and work well in a team environment.?
Must possess excellent customer relations, sales, & communication skills.?
Must possess at all times during employment a valid Washington State Department of Health Food Handler permit.
