Work Shift: Evening (United States of America)

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. Job Responsibilities Shift: 6:45am - 3pm Friday - Tuesday

Serves as a resource for information and direction; responds to urgent and emergent situations; performs patrol functions and security checks throughout the campus; reports, investigates and documents incidents; controls internal and external traffic; enforces rules and regulations to ensure and maintain a safe and orderly facility.

Years of Experience Required: Minimum one year in a customer service or any related work/school environment where productivity and critical thinking is required. 18-hour mandatory security class, coupled with additional 16 hour security class within first three months of employment (if not already completed at time of hire).

Years of Experience Preferred: Law enforcement or hospital security experience highly desirable

Ability to write reports and perform basic data entry.

Intermittent physical exertion Sitting or standing in the same location, as well as the ability to react quickly and/or physically exert as urgent/emergent situations warrant - such as responding to emergencies, walking/running, assisting patients in/out of cars and wheelchairs, climbing stairs and lifting material or equipment of heavy weight (50 lbs. or more) Examples: traversing the hospital campus to perform security checks, escorting patients/visitors/staff, and assisting with evacuation of patients using Emergency Management Equipment.

Environmental Working Conditions: Regular exposure to moderate physical discomfort Located in an environment with regular exposure to moderate physical discomfort from fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noises and bright lights. Examples: mail clerks, material handlers and food service workers.

OSHA Category 2 Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and other potentially infectious materials; Position & Unit Accountabilities:

Develops/Manages Processes & Systems - Assists with contracts Assists in the negotiation of physician managed care contracts, analytics, and financial modeling.

Upholds Standards/Expectations of HSS Staff - Assists with meetings Schedules, coordinates, and documents for all PHO related meetings.

Upholds Standards/Expectations of HSS Staff - Oversees PHO line Oversees PHO phone line, answers and responds to inquires, and assist with urgent physician office issues.

Education Required: 8-hour mandatory security class, coupled with additional 16 hour security class within first three months of employment (if not already completed at time of hire). High School Diploma or equivalent (G. Certifications/Licensure Required: NYS Security Guard License and NYC Fire Guard License
