Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown unit position in Utica, NY. This travel assignment offers an opportunity to specialize in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) and Progression Care Unit (PCU), providing care to adult patients with complex medical needs. The work environment includes a 64-bed unit, featuring advanced medical equipment and technologies.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

Provide care to patients with common diagnoses such as Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Resp: COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-op.
Utilize specialty equipment including Temp pacer, Chest tubes, A lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo.
Operate and manage chronic vents with respiratory therapist assistance.
Adapt to floating requirements as needed by the unit.

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

• Active NY RN License with verification from NURSYS Report.
• 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU with documented travel experience.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
