Java API DeveloperDuration: Long Term ContractLocation: Chicago, ILJob Description:Lead Behavioral Technology data engineering delivery and create data foundation to enable Behavioral strategic pillars. Participate in sessions to design API solutions centered around Kafka / Cassandra technologies. Participate in the Engineering Center of Excellence to drive standards and best practices around Kafka / Snowflake technologies. Review solutions in Kafka / Snowflake for resiliency and fault tolerance making recommendations for improvement.You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience8+ years of software engineering experienceExpert knowledge in programming languages such as Java and PythonExpert knowledge in high performing APIExperience in streaming using tools such as Kafka
