REGISTERED NURSE - OUTPATIENT CLINIC (Fulltime and PRN)

Location: Kyle, TX – 844 Kohlers Crossing, Suite 230

Clinic Hours: M-F; 8am – 6pm

Schedule: PRN; minimum 1-2 shifts per week

This role requires associates to work from the posted location full-time, ensuring consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement.

Registered Nurse (PRN)

Responsible for the administration of all ordered therapies.

Responsibilities

Perform duties within the nurse’s scope of practice, facility policies, INS standards, and approved protocols.

Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy.

Complete admission processes as directed by the Center Director.

Perform physical assessments on each patient as warranted and for new consults as required by diagnosis.

Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessments as needed.

Document all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.

Report significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follow up on any identified issues.

Evaluate patients’ responses to therapy and document findings in the medical record.

Educate patients and/or family members regarding therapy plans.

Ensure all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up-to-date prior to treatment.

Adhere to applicable state, local, and federal laws and regulations, including patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

ASN or ADN with at least 2 years of clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Current unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.

Multi-state licensure required if services are provided in multiple states.

Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination or waiver for Paragon and Carelon Health business units.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, And Experiences

BSN preferred.

Experience with IVs, PICC, peripheral lines, and medication mixing.

Titration experience.

Medical insurance terminology knowledge.

Exceptional time management skills.

Bilingual in English/Spanish.
