Claims Assistant-Hybrid

Our client, a well-established and highly respected property and casualty insurance carrier, is seeking Claims Assistant to join their Claims Customer Service Center on a temporary-to-permanent basis in Worcester, MA.

In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers reporting losses related to auto, home, and business insurance claims.

Manage incoming first notice of loss calls and electronically submitted claims

Gather and document claim details accurately

Utilize established workflows and systems to initiate claim handling activities

Identify customer needs and provide appropriate support and guidance

Work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure a positive customer experience

Training Schedule

Monday through Friday

Hybrid Work Environment

Two in-office days per week following training

Starting pay: $20.00 per hour

Opportunity for permanent employment based on performance and business needs

Salary increase available upon permanent conversion

Previous customer service, hospitality, financial services, or office experience preferred

Minimum six months of call center and/or office experience required

Ability to manage multiple computer applications and dual monitors efficiently

Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude

Ability to work at a computer for extended periods

Ability to perform in a dynamic, high-volume customer service environment
