We are looking to add to our teaching team. We have been fortunate to have so many incredible teachers who choose to stay and grow with our school year after year -- our current tenure range is 2 to 39 years!
An ideal candidate should be comfortable teaching in a Montessori influenced classroom of 3-5-year-olds. This position would begin as a full-time, long-term substitute to cover a leave of absence, and transition to a permanent co-teaching role upon the staff member’s return.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with teaching team members to:
provide inclusive classrooms that accommodate diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs
create visual schedules and consistent transition cues to help children independently navigate daily routines
lead small-group social emotional lessons utilizing role-play, children’s literature and age-appropriate “solution kits”
engage with families – maintain casual daily touchpoints with parents during drop-off and pick-up windows to share quick, positive highlights and/or behavioral strategies

Requirements

We are seeking a qualified Lead Teacher who meets Wisconsin childcare licensing benchmarks and classroom experience. Required coursework would include:
Introduction to the Child Care Profession
Skills & Strategies for the Child Care Teacher
