Description:
We are seeking a Travel RN for the Medical Surgical unit.
This position involves caring for neuroscience and epilepsy patients.
The unit has 29 beds with a staff ratio of 9 RNs and 3 Patient Care Technicians during the day shift, and 9 RNs and 2 Patient Care Technicians during the night shift.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:4 to 1:5.
Candidates must have effective time management skills, as those without this experience will not be considered.

ACLS

certification is preferred but not required.
The unit handles neuro patients, including those with transient ischemic attacks, strokes, and epilepsy conditions.
Candidates should be prepared to float to all acute care areas as needed, including medical surgical, general surgical, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, and orthopedic units.
The dress code requires royal blue scrubs.
The position involves working four weekend shifts over a four-week schedule period.
