Telemetry Day Shift Travel RN

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Intermediate Care Unit position at an acute care hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.

Job Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 158 staffed beds,
• Intermediate Care/Telemetry Unit with a patient ratio of 1:5-6,
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM),
• Every other weekend required,
• On-call is required for this position,
• Floating within scope of practice required to meet facility needs,
• Block scheduling is not available for this position,
• Charting is performed in Epic; Epic experience is required,
• Free parking available on-site,

Job Requirements

• Active IL RN license required; pending IL license may be accepted (must be noted at time of consideration),
• Active MO state RN license required at time of consideration,
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale,
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required,
• Epic EMR experience required,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
• Navy scrubs required,
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted,
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation,
• Travelers may remain at this facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required,
• Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler,
• Orientation modules must be completed prior to or at the start of the assignment
