Saint-Gobain is seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer II to join our team in Akron, Ohio. In this role, you will help drive quality excellence within a manufacturing environment that supports critical applications and demanding customer requirements.
This is an opportunity to be a key contributor in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System, partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, customers, suppliers, and auditors to ensure products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

As a Quality Engineer II, you will:
Support and enhance our Quality Management System (QMS)
Manage customer complaints and quality-related issues
Support change control, document control, and training processes
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve product and process quality
Support supplier quality initiatives and audit activities
Partner with customers to resolve quality concerns and maintain strong relationships
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data and quality tools
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field

• 5+ years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years of experience in a regulated industry such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biopharma, aerospace, or food and beverage manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Root cause analysis
• Complaint handling
• Strong communication and project leadership skills

Lean Manufacturing experience
Supplier quality and audit experience
