Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Expected 72 Hours Biweekly (on-call hours not included)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during 12-hour night shifts
Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately using EPIC
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Float to an additional affiliated hospital location as needed to support staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts
EPIC electronic health record proficiency required
BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry or Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Must successfully pass a day-one competency assessment upon arrival at orientation (one attempt only); candidates must also complete Relias testing during onboarding (up to 2 attempts) in preparation for the onsite assessment
Candidates previously employed at this health system must have been separated for 6 or more months and be in good standing to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience floating between units or facilities in a fast-paced hospital environment
Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
Familiarity with onboarding competency testing platforms such as Relias
