Dietary Aid Part Time Weekends

Part-time Dietary AideThe Lutheran Home is looking for part-time dietary aides to work within our health center kitchen. This position supports the daily operations of the kitchen and meal services for our healthcare community while providing friendly, respectful service to residents, families, and coworkers while upholding our values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship. This is a great opportunity for a student or someone looking for their first job. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Assist with meal service, including food running, bussing tables, and support residents with their dining needsHelp maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining areaWash dishes by hand or using the dishwasherAssist with food receiving, storage, labeling, and rotationSort and remove trash and put in the designated areasPrepare, portion, and serve regular and modified dietsFollow food safety, sanitation, infection control, and safety guidelinesProvide care and respectful service to resident, families, and coworkersPart-time hours are typically available 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, with longer shifts available on the weekend.
