Part-time Preschool Instructor

We're looking for a caring, energetic, and experienced individual to join our Preschool Programs team! Instructor II staff provide leadership while creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for young children. Responsibilities include planning and leading age-appropriate activities, supervising participants and staff, supporting daily program operations, communicating with families, maintaining attendance and program records, preparing program spaces, and helping ensure each child has a fun, positive, and enriching experience.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with preschool-aged children or in an early childhood, recreation, or related setting.

Experience supervising staff or volunteers preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Has or will obtain CPR/FA certification.

Compensation
This position is Grade 2 of the Town's Part-Time Pay Plan with an hourly range of $22.0 to $23.35 based upon qualifications and experience.
