Inova Fairfax Hospital Emergency Room Nurse Fellow

Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced nurse who is interested in transitioning to the ED specialty to participate in our Fellowship program that begins March 2027.

Eligible nurses will qualify for sign on and relocation bonuses. Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Full Time, Days (7am-7pm) or Mids Shifts (10am-10pm & 11am-11pm) or (1pm-1am & 3pm-3am) with weekend rotations and call. During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights).

Emergency Room Nurse Fellow Responsibilities:

Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.

Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.

Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

A minimum of one year as a Registered Nurse.

Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree. If RN has an Associate's Degree, within 2 years of date of hire, they must meet with their nurse leader and conduct the following: 1.) License/Certification: Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN. Experience: candidates will possess 2 years of critical care / acute care experience.

Other: Proficient in English. Proficient computer skills required.
