Head of Operations, Managed Transportation

Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next Operations Supervisor at our Float Glass Facility in Geneva, NY!

As an Operations Supervisor, you are responsible for developing your team into a high performing unit while advancing our vision and culture. You will do this by recognizing the unique skillset of your team members and aligning them in a way that creates personal fulfillment and value for the company. Manage labor, prioritize projects and daily operations

Communicate effectively to meet deadlines, ensure follow up, and manage goals

Work hands‑on with production and planning teams as needed to fulfill orders in a timely manner, elevate issues, and make decisions

Ensure quality products are produced

Partner with contractors and cross‑functional teams

Monitor production systems and enter data, correct errors, and control key screens

Ability to work rotating shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule (7-7 moving between days/nights monthly)

Bachelor's degree

Experience with Continuous Improvement Events/Activities

Thin films experience
